My recruitment career began 10 years ago. I started out as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant for a small agency specialising in the HGV/LGV and transport sector.I then moved on to my first 360 recruitment position in the IT Sector. It was here I discovered my love of recruitment and also that I was pretty good at it!After a couple of successful years years I decided to take myself away from the agency world and help to set up an IT Job Board designed exclusively for employers.I then went on to co-found JobsTheWord,a Big Data Talent Attraction Platform designed to help corporate recruitment teams source talent directly by enabling them to reach out to both active and passive candidates.In my role as Recruitment Delivery Director I worked with some of the best and most knowledgeable recruiters in the industry, those who head up the Inhouse Recruitment functions at the likes of BlackBerry, Worldpay, OpenTable and Shop Direct to name a few.
