The parent company of Shoe Sensation, Shoe Sensation, Inc. is a privately held corporation based in Jeffersonville, Indiana and operates over 125 retail stores in 18 states. Shoe Sensation is expanding its small town presence through an organic & strategic growth plan. The Company's strategy will increase the total store count to approximately 175 locations by the end of 2017.

My creativity and artistic aptitude started at a very young age. My mom used to give me a pencil and paper in church to keep me occupied. I would sit there and draw snowmen. Church service can be pretty long for a four year old, so my snowmen would have about a hundred body segments. She still laughs about that. I knew from an early age that whatever I was going to do for a living when I grew up, it would be something that let me be creative.I studied art in college and found my first real gig shortly after graduating. I responded to an ad in the classifieds that read 'Design Professional Needed - Selling Experience a Plus.' I thought... I don't have any selling experience yet but I bet I can talk my way past that part. At the start of the interview, my future employer said there was a typo in the ad. 'Selling Experience' was supposed to say 'Sewing Experience.' I had to laugh. There was no talking my way past that one. But I got the job anyway and soon I was designing golf bags and related accessories in a small factory in Springfield, KY. I learned all the things they don't teach you in college – the many challenges small businesses face, team building, brand building, problem solving, and the list goes on. This was a great start to my career.Since then I've had a great many experiences and developed a broad skill set. I've spent quality time on both the agency and client sides of the creative fence. I co-founded Red Giant Advertising in 2002. It was a two-man operation that eventually grew to 15 employees. Working with our clients to overcome their challenges and grow their businesses made each day unique, and uniquely rewarding.Today my particular areas of expertise include advertising, creative direction, sales, web development, new product introductions, pricing strategies, and video production.
