NSA represents thousands of sheriffs, deputies and other law enforcement, public safety professionals, and concerned citizens nationwide.

I'm curious and passionate. I'm also a tenacious researcher, a voracious bibliophile, and an avid epistemophilic. I currently work for the National Sheriffs' Association in multiple capacities - I serve as Director for the National Law Enforcement Center on Animal Abuse, I manage two additional NSA grants, and I help to manage the organization's social media presence across various platforms. My areas of interest include: animal law/welfare; law enforcement; legislative affairs and public policy; technological innovation in the legal field; project management and process improvement; and data analytics. I am a 2015 graduate of Michigan State University College of Law in East Lansing, Michigan. I aspire to work in governmental affairs, with a focus on the legislative process and public policy or on improving the delivery of government services through innovation. I am also quite passionate about improving animal welfare through the legislative process. I've been recognized multiple times for my work in animal welfare/law.
