LEED AP, DBIA, CM LEAN With over 33 years of construction experience, Ron Simoneau has spent the past 27 at Shawmut focusing almost exclusively on delivering challenging projects utilizing innovative delivery models for Higher Education clients. Ron has developed many important long-term client relationships and has been instrumental in expanded Shawmut’s portfolio to become a Top 10 Nationally Ranked Education Builder. Ron’s responsibilities as Executive Vice President include further developing existing and new client relationships, procuring work, executive operational oversight, and managing a $500M P&L. Ron’s leadership style exemplifies Shawmut’s commitment to delivering superior client service, developing top talent and high performing teams, and leading innovation. Ron has been instrumental in driving Lean as well as alternative project delivery models such as Collaborative Design-Build, Integrated Project Delivery, and Strategic Sourcing Partnerships at Shawmut. He is a champion for these concepts frequently speaking on them at industry conferences and events. Ron is a graduate of Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston where he studied architecture and construction management. He is a licensed builder in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, a LEED accredited professional, DBIA certified through the Design Build Institute of America, and certified in CM Lean through the Associated General Contractors of America. He currently serves on the Presidential Board of Advisors at Roger Williams University and has served on numerous boards for non-profit organizations such as The Providence Foundation, Amos House, and the CM Industry Advisory Board at Roger Williams University.
