I'm a free thinker with over 15 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining a variety of applications and mission-critical services across all conventional platforms. I enjoy the challenge of streamlining infrastructure and processes and then seeing its impact on my IT organization and the business as a whole. I work hard, but I play hard as well. I believe that building strong, personal relationships with my colleagues and customers not only makes collaboration more painless and efficient, but it also can turn what can be viewed as a burden by some into a positive experience for all involved. Technically my key strengths lie in the realm of the Microsoft backend and automating complex tasks there, but I have a good amount of experience in the *NIX world in both the server and workstation spaces as well popular cloud solutions and a number of other technologies. I find it interesting to leverage open source and cloud solutions with a company’s existing Microsoft environment. Personally my key strengths lie in my easy-going demeanor, the ability to develop good relationships, and also the ability to remain cool under pressure, which helps me excel in high-priority projects and responding to outages.
