Parasuraman has over 20 years of professional experience in design, development and delivery of products and business applications in the capital markets space. He is a seasoned professional and has been in key positions in several large strategically important organizations. He has extensive experience in solving varied business, technology and process problems offering innovative solutions. He is a versatile and multi-talented professional who brings creative thinking and leadership to the organization. At SGX, Parasuraman is part of the Market Data and Connectivity Services where he is responsible to deliver the platforms and projects related to Market Data. He also plays the role of a Product Manager for products and services specifc to Reference a Data, Corporate Actions and Historical Data. In addition to this, he acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on ISO standands and global best practices around data management. Before SGX he was with Information Mosaic (now IHS Markit - Information Mosaic) as Product Manager for new products and offerings at its India center. He is responsible for managing the overall P&L as well as features and design of the product. Before that he worked with TCS and Sapient in a variety of strategic roles. He has significant international exposure in USA, Europe and Singapore including a major market initiative and re-engineering programs for the US Depository in New York (DTCC) and SGX in Singapore. Parasuraman holds a Master’s degree in Business Economics with specialization in Systems and Marketing Management from University of Delhi, India and Bachelor's degree in Statistics.
