I have extensive experience in telecommunications, utility, and electricity power market segments, as well as a successful track record in bringing products to market through leading sales, marketing, product management, operations, and product development. Currently, I lead our sales efforts to the Utility sector for Ubicquia, a provider of network solutions for smart lighting and smart city applications. At Sensus, I lead the commercialization of the intelligent lighting product and system applications for Sensus, incorporating more efficient induction and LED lighting technologies into our AMI and Smart Grid communication infrastructure. These solutions will provide significant energy savings, improved security and light quality, and the ability to remotely control lighting functionality for utilities, cities, and non-utility customers. At Metadigm Services, I was responsible for leading sales and marketing activities to create the leading smart infrastructure services company in the utility market. At Tyco Electronics, I was responsible for HV product sales to switchgear manufacturers such as ABB, Areva, Siemens, etc., turnkey HV project contractors in the Americas, and electric utilities. I developed and implemented sales strategies for a product manufactured in Europe and sold into North America. Sales increased over 30% annually each of the last two years. I received the Tyco Electronics President's Sales Award for 2008. Annual sales of over $20MM in 2009. As a director at Progress Energy, I led the development and implementation of telemetry strategies for accurate and remote metering and billing of our largest commercial, industrial, and governmental customer accounts; representing $1 billion in annual revenues. Additionally, I developed an unregulated metering services business within the regulated entity that enjoyed significant growth.
