Karl is a Software Manager leading the Display Manager (DM) Engineering team at Scientific Games. This embedded code suite provides video, serial, and USB bridged touch scaling technology to interface our iVIEW player tracking/bonusing system with electronic gaming machines from many casino game manufacturers. Additionally, Karl is a landscape and motorsports photographer selling fine art prints. He has several articles published by Vintage Motorsport magazine. Karl has been moving into Cinema Work to help promote his photography. Karl was a partner at Orbital Studios, a twenty-five-person studio developing simulation, role-play, and adventure game titles. Karl co-founded and remains board director with MousePlanet, Inc, a leading independent Internet resource covering Disney parks and resorts. Projects - - developed original role-play, world-building, and space combat game titles published by Electronic Arts, ASCII, and Panasonic/Ripcord; - pioneered multi-player strategy and role-play experiences for online communities AOL and Sierra INN; - developed award-winning Elmo and Sesame Street titles for video game console platforms; - developed mobile games published by ATT/HBO and Amp'd Mobile. - created prototype location-based entertainment for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Online; - developed core RFID, GPS mapping and navigation, and sound processing technology for mobile startups.
