I am Karla Zárate and I am Legal Partner of BALUR and Director of RSM Mexico. I have 14 years as tax and general corporate attorney. I am specialist in Business Consulting and Corporate Law, with a focus on financial management and Corporate Governance, and managing foreign trade compliance for national and international companies, including temporal and definitive import/export authorizations, ruling and review procedures. I have experience in Mexican tax and administrative litigation, consult, tax planning and foreign trade, defending the interests of foreign and domestic clients. Currently I am Counselor of the National Association of Business Lawyers (ANADE). My professional activities include teaching Tax Law, Administrative Law and Corporate Law, being a member of the Tax Commission of the Mexican Bar Association of Lawyers, A.C., assisting in the Coordination of said Commission, and I regularly write articles for prominent magazines, including La Barra and Puntos Finos.
