An agent since 2003, Craig Terrien's goal is to encourage the preservation and restoration of architecturally significant homes with a focus on the San Fernando Valley. He founded one of the first curatorial Real Estate websites in Los Angeles, which enjoyed great success and was featured in publications such as The New York Times, Dwell Magazine and Daily Variety. A champion of the architecture, laid-back lifestyle, and sunshine of the San Fernando Valley, Craig enjoys introducing transplants from over-the-hill and further to all that the Valley has to offer. He has enjoyed many years of connecting sellers of architecturally significant homes to appropriately sensitive buyers. Specializing in Mid-Century Modern architecture, Craig has sold homes designed by the likes of Richard Neutra, Ray Kappe, Edward Fickett, Palmer & Krisel, Richard Dorman, and Rodney Walker, to name a few. Prior to his career in Real Estate, Craig was working in post-production for film and television, after having earned a BA in Audio Engineering from the University of Colorado. A love of architecture brought him to Real Estate. When not selling homes, you’ll likely find him spending time with his family, training for his next marathon, volunteering at the local elementary school, or pouring Manhattans for his neighbors. Having restored several architectural homes himself, Craig's hope is to facilitate a better understanding of great architecture and design for those of all income levels, promoting its preservation and finding ways to maintain its relevance in the face of issues such as energy efficiency, drought, and cultural changes.
