In over a decade of contributing to the success of the businesses where I have worked, I have developed a love of business administration, team development, and training. My years in management have provided me with the opportunity to perform numerous human resource related activities such as hiring, training, coaching, and motivating staff. I enjoy a workplace that allows me to serve both the internal and the external customer at the highest level. I have also had the opportunity to teach college level students for four years, with a focus on the areas of Research and Critical Thinking. I believe in the value of higher education, and that any individual can flourish in a supportive environment that engages their natural curiosity. This perspective carries over into all areas of my professional life - all customers and employees have the right to be engaged and treated with respect. My educational background is diverse – I earned a Bachelor of Arts in English degree from the University of Utah, and a Master of Business in Human Resources Management from the University of Phoenix. The combination of these two educational focuses has allowed me to develop strong written and verbal skills, business acumen, and a high level of understanding of the legal, emotional, and financial concerns in the workplace.
