•Define business goals, strategic vision and technical roadmap •Align business goals with technical strategy and execute plan to achieve technical goal •Align and manage R&D spend on a continuous basis to align with corporate needs and goals •Drive multiple product lines concurrently •Ensure architecture and ecosystem of products meet the following goals: a) Feature set driven by user needs and offered in an seamless manner b) Operational delivery models are designed and delivered as part of product feature set c) Inter-operability and standards compliance built into the product feature set •Designed, developed and delivered multiple product suites ground-up •Responsible for complete product development life cycle across varied technology stacks •Build streamlined SDLC processes to meet regulatory requirements and maintain development agility •Manage multi-cultural teams with a healthy mix of local employees, remote employees, geographically distributed teams, outsourcing relationships, temporary contractors •Identify optimal product development models for quality delivery including SCRUM, Iterative/Spiral, Prototyping, RAD, etc. •Evaluate, plan, advise on multiple M&A events from a strategic and technology perspective
