Pioneer Natural Resources Company is an oil and energy company which is into the petroleum industry and is engaged in drilling, exploration, and production of oil and gas.

For over 20 years, I have found my career path turned into a journey of adventures that helped make me the person I am today. After graduating from Texas A&M, I started working as an operations engineer in East Texas and later found myself on drilling rigs in South Texas. I also spent time in completions, working high pressure, high temperature fracture stimulations. Once my fieldwork was complete, I found my passion in reservoir engineering. When I moved to Dallas, I hoped to find another opportunity to expand my love for reservoir engineering and learn even more about the industry. That chance became a reality with Pioneer Natural Resources, primarily due to the people, possibilities and principles that was the essence of the company. When I started at Pioneer, I worked on exploration projects in the GOM, northern Africa and the central Gulf coast. I gained tremendous insight to the business side of the industry while working for the COO and CFO. After four years of that time with increased understanding our company’s vision, strategy and impact, I returned to engineering in South Texas. Through several changes within the organization, I gained valuable knowledge on the Eagle Ford Shale, which led me to running the asset as the South Texas Asset leader. Then I moved to lead the Permian infrastructure team. This assignment helped me learn the importance of tactical positioning and strategy for gas, power and water. I moved back to my passion of leading the subsurface organization in 2019, added reserves and marketing in 2021 and Budgeting and Planning in 2022. While the journey at Pioneer has been challenging over the last several years, I am looking forward to continuing the pursuit of technical excellence, love for learning and family culture that many of us worked so hard to create. When I’m not working, I spend a majority of my time with my family. Over the years, I have found a new passion of service by influencing my children, mentoring or speaking to groups about their abilities to reach their highest potential.
