I am a litigation partner at Proskauer Rose LLP in New York City. I am the co-head of Proskauer's Intellectual Property Litigation Section and also the co-head of Proskauer's False Advertising & Trademark Litigation Practice. I have been a trial lawyer for over 30 years.I am proud that, year-after-year, Proskauer's advertising litigation practice has received the highest rating from the major independent rating services, and that last year, U.S. News/Best Lawyers chose us as its 2013 Law Firm of the Year in Advertising Law. I am also pleased to be one of only three lawyers in the United States to whom Chambers USA, in both its 2013 and 2014 editions, gave its highest rating for advertising litigation. I regularly represent major companies in trials and appeals as lead counsel in Lanham Act false advertising cases (representing both plaintiffs and defendants), consumer class action and unfair competition cases (defense only) and NAD advertising challenges (representing challengers and advertisers). I also litigate trademark infringement, copyright infringement, trade secret misappropriation and art fraud cases, advise and litigate on behalf of professional sports governing bodies, leagues and teams, and represent major companies and individuals in other complex commercial litigation.
