I am a security, risk, and audit professional with deep technical experience and an understanding of the role that information systems play in an effective (and secure) enterprise. I have extensive experience in healthcare, so I understand how regulatory compliance drives priorities, but doesn’t necessarily increase security. As an auditor and penetration tester, I test every assumption to ensure that systems are actually secure, not just thought to be. I believe that extraordinary people and effort can create great results, but that good process maturity will generate more consistent results with less stress.My technical background is primarily in Microsoft-based environments and in ERP development. I also have significant Windows Server, SQL, Excel, and scripting skills that I put to use on a regular basis, and I am continually counted on to become the technical lead on new systems. I bring deep technical experience and a scientific, evidence-based approach to auditing. I provide structure and process for Operations and Security teams. I love knowledge bases, change control, and asset management processes and their ability to enable better security and operational efficiency.
