Todd Cook, CSP, CUSP, CHST Safety Manager, Pieper Electric, Inc. I am a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater with a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Occupational Safety with an emphasis in Construction Safety. I have served as a safety consultant and maintain many safety certifications including being a credentialed Certified Safety Professional, Certified Utility Safety Professional, and Construction Safety & Health Technologist. I am also a federally authorized OSHA outreach instructor for General Industry and Construction as well as an authorized instructor for OSHA 500 construction instructors. I am an authorized trainer for the OTI- OSHA Training Institute. I am a member of The American Society of Safety Engineers, National Safety Council, Wisconsin Safety Council and a frequent guest lecturer and tutor at UW-Whitewater and Indiana University. I am a lead member of the PPC, FEC, AGC, MMSD, and AON safety committees as well as a member of the UW-Whitewater construction advisory board. Some other of my major accomplishments include forming an OSHA 4-Star Partnership, reducing Pieper Electric's incident rate, frequency rate and severity rate to levels unheard of in the industry which in turn has led to lowering PEI's Experience Modification Rating to a 0.42 in 2015 & a 0.44 in 2016 among the lowest of any construction firm in WI and the United States; projected to be a 0.42in 2017.
