I am a Senior Associate in the Family Law department of Penningtons Manches Cooper LLP where I have worked since 2011. I have written 'The Family Lawyer's Guide to Separation and Divorce - How To Get What You Both Want', a modern guide to a more amicable separation. It was published by Penguin Random House on 5 December 2019, and is available at Amazon, Waterstones, WHSmiths and other retailers in England and abroad. I won Citywealth Family Lawyer of the Year - Senior/Managing Associate 2019 (gold), and won Innovative Individual of the Year 2019 (silver), and was named as a 2019 Future Leader Top 100 Super Advisor by Citywealth Leaders list. I was named as Recommended Lawyer in the Legal 500 2017, and a Key Lawyer in the Legal 500 2020 legal guides. I won the 2019 LexisNexis Family Law Awards, Family Law Commentator of the Year. I have written many published articles for Lexology, Jordans Family Law, and LexisNexis New Law Journal. In 2015, I was one of two runners-up in the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL) European Chapter Annual Award for Young Family Lawyers for my essay on the international relocation of children. I have expertise in domestic and international family law to include financial cases and disputes concerning arrangements for children, in both married and unmarried cases. I regularly deal with a variety of cross-jurisdictional and high net worth matters, most recently in USA, Singapore, Dubai, Australia and Europe. I am also experienced in acting for clients in emergency situations making urgent applications to the court in cases relating to children, finances and domestic abuse. I am a member of Resolution, an organisation which believes in constructive approaches to family law matters. I am incredibly proud to be a part of the Guildford Family Department which has been ranked First Tier in Legal 500 2020 and Band 2 in the Chambers & Partners 2020 legal directories.
