Michael is an experienced technical leader with an expertise in leading teams through the delivery of robust solutions to complex technical challenges. Throughout his career, he has created innovative products and solutions with a proven track record of solving unique business challenges. Michael’s secret sauce is the ability to intersect business and GTM considerations at every stage of IT, sales process, and broader organizational planning. As VP of Engineering at Pax8 Michael revitalized the Pax8 platform launching two marquee vendors and developing GTM strategies by creating migration and billing tools. He matured organizational process by working closely with sales and marketing to implement Salesforce CRM. Further, he Integrated the Pax8 platform into Marketing / Sales operations stack, developing sophisticated sales funnel and sign-up journey workflows. As CTO at Pax8, Michael owned Marketing Operations, Product Management, Data Science, and Software Development. Michael worked closely with more than a dozen SaaS vendors during vetting and on-boarding. He successfully coached technical and business leaders at SaaS vendors during integration and GTM development on how to succeed in the Pax8 ecosystem. Michael also established the Product Operations Working Group which is responsible for coordinating all product launches with vendors across the organization from API integrations, to GTM and billing. Michael spearheaded the implementation of PSA integrations which became the cornerstone of the Pax8 value proposition. As COO Michael oversees more than 250 team members owning cross functional business operations including Project Management, Revenue Operations (Marketing Ops, Sales Ops, Customer Service, and Product Management), Internal Operations, Corporate IT and Software Development. Michael established cross functional planning and strategy practices enabling rapid pivots in strategic direction while enabling organizational processes to mature. Before joining Pax8, Michael chaired the engineering review board at Raytheon for the Command Control and Telemetry Systems of the James Webb Space Telescope, Defense Weather Satellite System, and Wide Band Global SATCOM projects. He also spearheaded the creation of the Analysis Tool for Orchestrated Measurement, which would become the preferred stored telemetry analysis engine used by NASA, NOAA, and the DOD. Michael holds a BS in Computer Science from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
