PAREXEL International is a multinational, life sciences consulting firm. It conducts clinical trials on behalf of its pharmaceutical clients to expedite the drug approval process.

My interests are medical image processing and medical imaging informatics. I am actively involved in data quality assessment aimed at supporting the use of images as surrogate end points in clinical trials. Summary of Software Experience: In my early engineering career I programmed in various processor macro languages and C. Currently, I mainly use the R programming language for data analysis projects. In recent years I have used both MATLAB and IDL for most image processing tasks. For imaging informatics I switched to the R programming language after using Python with libraries (SciPy, NumPy, Matplotlib). I have basic level experience with implementing image processing tools using C++ and ITK (Insight Registration and Segmentation Toolkit). As needed, I have performed maintenance on several tools written by others using C, C++ and IDL for either Linux or Windows environments. I have used a variety of other software for image acquisition, image processing and image evaluation tasks. I have basic level skill using HTML and web content management systems.
