Nonprofit executive with over 23 years experience leading PanCAN from a small start up to a $50M+ organization. Passionate about our mission and changing outcomes for patients. Love public speaking, working with our amazing staff team, meeting constituents and visioning about what brick wall we can break through next. Transparent communication, solution orientation, ambitious goals and lots of hard work get us to where we are going. During my time at PanCAN, we have invested over $174M in research, served more pancreatic cancer patients and their families than any other organization in the world through our Patient Services program, grown a grassroots network across the country, increased federal funding for pancreatic cancer by over 900% through our advocacy efforts, launched the first of its kind adaptive clinical trial for pancreatic cancer patients, initiated an Early Detection Initiative to help inform a screening strategy for pancreatic cancer, and countless other programs and services to save lives and accelerate the rate of progress for patients.
