-Design, Source, Evaluate new products -Manage product inventory life-cycle including the introduction of new items, and deletion of obsolete items along with an exit strategy. -Cultivate vendor relationships and manage negotiation, costing, vendor selection and sourcing of existing products - Deliver the planned annual sales and profit targets for select categories. -Direct and manage vendor partnerships. -Work with Senior Management to develop and implement company strategy as it relates to business planning, purchasing, and customer strategy. -Participate in the management and fulfillment of national account level customer requirements.
