Mr. McQuillan is a 1977 graduate of the University of Wisconsin School of Law and is currently licensed in multiple states and admitted to the Federal Trial Bar and multiple Federal Courts. His civil litigation practice has personal injury, commercial and business litigation, products liability, motor vehicle crashworthiness and stability, structural design and construction liability, patent litigation and fires and explosions. Mr. McQuillan has tried a number of major multiple death, catastrophic personal injury and property damage jury cases to verdict in courts throughout the country as well as a Chancery trial in Chicago where he secured the ownership of two of the Chicago Bears' PSLs for his client. He is a member of the Illinois Trial Lawyer's Association. He also represent clients in their transactions and litigation related to their transactions. Mr. McQuillan also has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from UW, with additional expertise in the areas of chemical, petrochemical, electrical engineering control systems and microprocessor technology. As a speaker, Mr. McQuillan has been featured nationally at forums including the American Bar Association (ABA), the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA), ASME, SAE, National Manufacturing Week, the National Ski Areas Association (NSAA), the National Ski Patrol (NSP) and the University of Wisconsin Department of Engineering Professional Development. Kevin’s wife is a physical therapist at one of the major rehabilitation facilities in the United States. Their two sons in college play lacrosse for rival colleges.
