Kit Taylor, a skilled manager, has been producing and publishing magazines for over twenty-five years. Currently, in the position of Chief Operating Officer for New York Media LLC, she is responsible for all operations at the company including human resources, office services and technology, circulation, legal facilitation, and production and manufacturing of the magazine. New York magazine hired her to build and manage the infrastructure for the company after having participated in the due diligence prior to its purchase by Bruce Wasserstein from Primedia in January 2004. The company currently consists of 240 employees and 50 contributors, freelancers and interns.
