Replaced the Arizent tech stack to improve marketing capabilities, speed and automation. Migrated the company to a new Customer Data Platform (CDP), a new Email Service Provider (ESP), a new Content Management System (CMS), and to new on-site marketing tools. Drove 300% growth in paid subscriptions sales and 1,100% growth in email registrations through the Arizent sites. Grew users of the Arizent websites by 23% in 6 months time. Optimized the marketing funnels that increased conversion rates for newsletter sign-ups, subscription sales, and lead generation. As the Vice President of Marketing for Sapphire Digital I grew the Vitals.com ratings and reviews to an industry-leading 9M and grew social engagement 30-fold. Previously the head of audience development for New York Media – parent company of New York Magazine, NYMag.com, TheCut.com and Vulture.com. While there I was responsible for digital marketing strategy and all consumer marketing campaigns. Drove 900% traffic growth for the New York Media websites: from 3M to 30M monthly visitors. Founded the social media department for New York Media and grew the followings from 1M to 10M. Led New York Magazine to record subscription, newsstand and profitability growth, and prior to that I managed a $60M P&L and 4M subscriber base at Time Magazine.
