Controls and Automation Engineer

NSG Group was added in 2013.

I am a Controls and Automation Engineer at NSG Pilkington. As such, I manage multiple engineering projects with deadlines, troubleshoot day to day PLC and robotic issues, assist maintenance personnel on electrical/PLC wiring issues, train on vision systems as well as robot programming. I am skilled in RSLogix 500 and Studio 5000, ABB robot programming, set up/integration of ABB robots with Allen Bradley PLCs, Fanuc robot programming/integration with Allen Bradley PLCs, FactoryTalk View for HMI programming, and PanelBuilder 32 for HMI builds. I have experience with various keyence, gocator and cognex vision systems (both setting up and configuring to PLCs). I am willing and eager to learn new developments and programming styles along with anything else thrown my way. In addition to my willingness to learn, I am a fast learner and catch on to things quickly. This skill is what has allowed me to grow within NSG and will allow me to grow beyond it, should the opportunity present itself.
