Leonard manages the Site Managers, Trainers, and Technicians of the IT Department. He oversees the organization wide IT support model including the Help Desk and video conferencing while serving as the escalation point for all support issues. He began his career at NRDC in 2003 as an IT Technician. He spent five years as the NY Site Manager and the past five years in his previous role as the IT Client Services Manager, managing 7 staffing positions across 5 cities in the US. He has developed an organization-wide Asset Management Strategy, streamlined the help desk ticket entry process, and established video conference metrics to improve performance and identify trends. In his current position as Deputy Director of IT, he and his team are responsible for identifying, utilizing and integrating cloud services to improve staff workflow. These services relate to password management, Active Directory automations, Single Sign On, Two Factor Authentication, Cloud Storage and Security Awareness. Leonard has an undergraduate degree from Bernard Baruch College (Class of 2003, magna cum laude) and a CompTIA Network+ certification. Leonard grew up in Brooklyn, New York and spends his off days playing recreational athletics. He has been the Captain of NRDC’s softball team for the past 5 years. He currently lives in New Jersey with his wife.
