A successful senior project manager with over 25 years’ experience working in a variety of IT roles. A strong background in project management across a wide range of areas: Software development, 3rd party implementation and Infrastructure implementation. Senior project manager on multi-million project implementation with a project team of up to 50 people. Experienced in both AGILE and PRINCE 2 methodologies that have delivered significant benefits and cost savings across the organisation. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS •Senior Project Manager for Oracle HCM implementation at Next PLC (£7.5m budget) including product selection and contract, functional, testing, training, development, implementation and decommission workstreams. •Helped to create a business case for creating a separate HR Systems team and additional project resources. •Managed a massive array of HR and Finance software in-house development projects including: Store staff ‘Shift Marketplace’ saving circa £2m / year; ‘Time off Available’ circa £1.5m / year; •Managed a range of 3rd party implementations and integration with existing systems such as: Linetime Legal Management; FMIS Asset Management System; Coda Financial System; Matrix Spread Management System; Card Payment System and many others. •Replacement of Next Recruitment Website using Umbraco Content Management System, hardware infrastructure, WCF services, and in-house recruitment management application. •Strong senior stakeholder management engagement and relationships. •Introduced a wide range of process improvements including: TFS source code and release management; change and release management; improve development estimate (Placeholder, Plannable & Accurate), staff management, skills matrix and training, and support handover and warranty support. •ICT Operations project lead on major corporate shared service initiative aimed at delivering £2m saving / year. Ensuring the Oracle ERP solution is delivered at the required standard and application support across both organisations and processes are fit for purpose. •Project managed an £8m, 8 year procurement for a hosted Corporate Oracle ERP service working with several external partners. Delivered to demanding timescales and costs. •Project managed the procurement, design, implementation and testing of a 35TB, £650k corporate wide storage and backup solution to over 100 Windows/Solaris and Linux servers. Delivered on time and within budget.
