Nicole Pemberton is head of Human Resources at National General Insurance and a member of the company’s executive team. In this role she is responsible for 10,000 employees in the US, Bermuda, and LATAM. She is accountable for all aspects of human resource management, including global human resources talent strategies, M&A Integrations, employee relations & engagement, talent acquisition, total rewards strategy, care and wellbeing. Pemberton began her career with National General Insurance in August 2012 and has held various roles within Human Resources including Human Resources Director and Vice President. She is an accomplished and broadly experienced Human Resources Executive with more than 20 years of experience. She has a proven success record in developing, implementing and administering innovative, cost-effective strategies and solutions. Pemberton is often referred to as a trusted leader with a demonstrated track record of delivering promised business results in a surprisingly simple way. She is also known as an authentic leader who believes that individuals with courage and determination can make the largest impact in our communities. Pemberton is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; National Association of Female Executives, CHIEF, Society of Human Resources Management and National Association of African Americans in Human Resources. She earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Morgan State University and Masters in Human Resources Management from University of Maryland.
