Western Region Brands Manager

I’m the Western Region Brands Manager for National Beverage Corp., the 4th largest manufacturer of carbonated soft drinks in the US. As the Western Region Brands Manager I act as the Brand Manager for National Beverage Corp largest brand Shasta Soda and I oversee West Coast consumer marketing for sister brands under the National Beverage Corp such as LaCroix Sparkling Water and Rip-It Energy drink. I have a wide range of responsibilities that include developing both Traditional (Billboards, Radio, ROP, Couponing, POS, etc) and Digital (Facebook, Twitter, Mobile, Microsites) Marketing Campaigns, supervising and developing Consumer Sampling Programs, managing Product Development from conception to roll out, developing department level and campaign specific budgets, and overseeing and negotiating strategic alliances and partnership. And though this may seem like a lot of responsibilities for one person, that is what I enjoy best about my job and that is the wide variety of marketing activities I’m involved in and that no two days are the same. So whether it's helping with trade presentations or arranging for trade show support, developing consumer promotions and executing those programs, developing digital programs and responding to digital inquires whether through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or Email, creating complex forecasting models on excel based upon trend history and ACV numbers, developing and planning budgets, and all of the other marketing items needed for a brand as large Shasta, the job allows me maximize my large skill set to fulfill all of those functions. I’m always interested in hearing from fellow Marketeers and Brand Managers in the CPG industry and learning about successful campaigns and what trends they see coming up in the future.
