Experienced and team-oriented scientist with 10+ years of experience in biochemistry, analytical chemistry and natural products chemistry. Qualifications: • 10+ years of experience in analytical chemistry. Specialized in small molecule analysis. • Extensive experience with GC/MS, GC-FID, TLC, NMR, experience with LC and LC/MS. • 7+ years of experience in enzymology and assay development • Independent and self-motivated • Strong multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills Technical Skills: • Analytical Chemistry Extensive experience with GC-MS, GC-FID, HPLC, LC-MS/MS, NMR and TLC. Expertise in wet chemistry techniques. • Biochemistry Synthesis of enzyme substrates and products, set up and optimize recombinant protein expression, enzyme activity assay development, enzyme kinetics, substrate specificity, substrate selectivity, SDS-PAGE, western blot, radiolabelling techniques. • Natural Products Chemistry Extraction, isolation, purification and identification of plant secondary metabolites from different plant sources. • Molecular Biology Construct design, PCR, RT-PCR, gene cloning, DNA and RNA extraction, sequencing.
