Dwight’s career at Merrill Lynch began as a Financial Advisor in Charlotte, NC where he became a producing office manager. Dwight continued his career in leadership as a Regional Sales Manager in Princeton, NJ before being appointed as the Director for the state of New Mexico. After New Mexico, Dwight was the Merrill Lynch Director in the state of Arizona, and Managing Director for Merrill Lynch in Pittsburgh. Prior to his move to Pittsburgh, Dwight served in a national strategy role for Merrill Lynch as the Head of New Advisor Strategy and Head of Business Development. After fifteen years of leadership at Merrill Lynch, Dwight accepted the opportunity to lead SunTrust's Premier Investment Group. Dwight graduated from Appalachian State University; he is a CFP® and he received his MBA from The Thunderbird School of Global Management. Dwight is married to Alicia Mathis and they have two children, Kennedy and Davis.
