• Developing EHS management plans and overseeing the implementation of the same as per the guidelines • Preparing, reviewing, and updating environmental investigation and recommendation reports to reduce environmental risks • Collaborating with environmental scientists, planners, hazardous waste technicians, engineers, and other specialists, and experts in law and business to address environmental problems • Obtaining, updating, and maintaining plans, permits, and standard operating procedures • Providing technical-level support for environmental remediation and litigation projects, including remediation system design and determination of regulatory applicability • Monitoring progress of environmental improvement programs and inspecting industrial and municipal facilities and programs in order to evaluate operational effectiveness • Helping to develop EHS competence standards and individual competence across the Group of companies • Analyzing data from audits, accident investigations, near misses, concessions, defect reports and customer complaints to identify adverse trends and implement preventive action • Establishing and analyzing environmental performance indicators & identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
