I am the Vice President for Quality and Sustainability at McCarthy Building Companies, Inc., a 100% employee-owned national construction company specializing in complex, high technology facilities such as hospitals, research laboratories and industrial plants. In this role, I am responsible for the development and implementation of McCarthy’s innovative Quality Without Question Program and oversee our Virtual Design and Construction efforts, both focused upon consistently building the best buildings in America for our clients and industry partners. I am also responsible for McCarthy’s sustainability Initiatives, serving as Corporate Leader of our company’s Green Steering Committee. Passionate about life-long learning and improving quality in construction, I am the founder and current President of the Construction Quality Executives Council (CQEC). The CQEC is an industry organization composed of quality leaders from design and construction firms with formal quality programs. The goal of the CQEC is to advance the art and science of quality in the built environment through publications, education and research.
