Deputy Editor
Mashable covers the top social media news.
Proud San Franciscan, born and raised. Now covering everything transportation and tech for Mashable, out of their SF office. That means self-driving cars, electric vehicles, mass transit, ride-hailing apps, and more! Previously I was at Twitter, helping with their new B2B marketing website. Before that I was at my hometown newspaper's website, SFGate, putting content online, writing short pieces and editing the homepage. I'm a former breaking news reporter at Bay City News Service where I covered all things SF from government, crime, politics, transportation, courts, health, and more. I graduated in May 2016 from the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, studying multimedia. During my time at the Berkeley J-school I've covered Oakland politics, local business, and learned visual reporting and web skills. I've produced radio shows and episodes for North Gate Radio on KALX and was a features reporter at the Chicago Tribune in 2015. For other special projects, I've fact-checked for California Magazine, the UC Berkeley alumni magazine and created audio alerts for consumers with the California Department of Justice. I'm always working on my newsletter, collecting and showing interactive online projects: Keeping Tabs.
