What’s the common thread between engineering, kitchen design, product development and marketing? My professional passions are deriving insights from data, uncovering opportunity, and improving the consumer and customer journey. In my career this has taken several forms - marketing, product development, sales, and even engineering. What I have learned is this: no matter the challenge – whether launching a new product, designing a kitchen, or winning new business – the underlying principles of listening to the customer, developing innovative solutions, and alleviating pain points are critical. I have a soft spot for the home products / home improvement sector and have had the privilege of attacking challenges and devising strategies in this space from many angles. As the Vice President of Marketing for Cabinetworks Group, a $2B cabinet company, I lead the organization’s brand, channel, digital, merchandising, and training efforts. Over the past year, I have helped spearhead efforts to win our newly formed company $150M in new business by working across our organization to develop new programs and product lines. I am dedicated to cultivating a high performing team and creating a compelling portfolio of brands and programs for our Lowe's, Home Depot, Menards, and Dealer channels. As a marketing team, we are moving towards a customer-centric culture, innovative solutions, calculated risk taking, and data driven decisions. Both at work and at home, I am passionate about the home improvement. Fifteen years ago my husband and I gutted our master bath – with no plan or knowledge of how to put it back together. Today, we have 4 kitchen remodels, 9 bath remodels, and endless other projects under our belt. When I’m not covered in sawdust, I enjoy baking, jogging, yoga, and keeping up with my two boys.
