Lyft's mobile-phone application facilitates peer-to-peer ridesharing by connecting passengers who need a ride to drivers who have a car.

Here at Lyft, I lead the talent acquisition team for the business functions. Over the past 3 years, our team grew the company 15x! Our lean but high-performing team has grown from 2 to 10+ (SF and Nashville) in under a year. We manage full-cycle strategic partnership with our internal clients from kick-off to successful close. We run recruiting for Operations, Customer Experience, Marketing, Sales, Partnerships, Legal, Finance, IT, Office, Government Relations. We have also created and implemented programs across the company geared toward onboarding, training, preparation and best practices. Our focuses are candidate experience, hiring manager experience and operational excellence. We have streamlined our processes to ensure scalability while constantly iterating on the experiential aspects - we want to be memorable and special while efficient! We survey internally and externally to ensure we are capturing all the necessary data to continuously improve our brand and process. In addition to recruiting, I served as People Business Partner to G&A and Marketing (200+ team members) with 2 directs for 2 years where I focused on coaching, org development, performance management, compliance and employee relations, among other things. Before joining Lyft while at Russell Reynolds Associates (RRA), I worked with high-growth tech startups (Series A-D) to place executives across all c-level functions. As the primary relationship manager for clients, I managed all client and candidate experiences. Prior to RRA, I was in the rotational finance program for Morningstar, Inc. where I focused on data analysis and product management for Morningstar.com.I received my BA from Northwestern University and went on to get my JD from Fordham and pass the NY bar (you know, for fun! :)). During law school, my experiences ranged from IP work for COACH, Inc., real estate law for Newmark Knight Frank, and bankruptcy law for the 1st Circuit in Maine.
