I am a proven senior business development, product management and sales executive with over twenty years experience in high-technology industries. I bring a very strategic and analytical approach to problem solving, and I’m a results-oriented manager who believes falling short of a very difficult goal is better than coasting to an easy one. I have extensive experience forging strategic partnerships and closing deals. I am also extremely detail-oriented and operationally focused. I have considerable experience managing sales and marketing as well as a product development teams. I very much enjoy leading teams and recruiting, mentoring and developing people. I have spent the majority of my career focused on the Self-Driving Vehicles, Geospatial and Semiconductor industries with particular focus on remote sensors including Light Detecting and Ranging (LiDAR) and GNSS (GPS & GLONASS) sensors. I have worked for Intel, Magellan GPS, Velodyne LiDAR and Uber’s Advanced Technology Group. I was the CEO of Tyto LiDAR. Tyto LiDAR developed and sold a high-definition LiDAR sensor the mobile-mapping and surveying industry. I am always interested in new ideas that stimulate my curiosity and enable me to utilize my current skills to tackle very challenging problems.
