Books have shaped my entire life. From a young age I loved that anything I wanted to learn could be found and absorbed through reading. As I grew up and started to explore the internet, I was amazed when my sources and opportunities for learning grew exponentially. This lifetime love of learning and new love for technology lead me to start my software career in edtech, where I quickly learned start-ups offer the best opportunities to try new things, make mistakes, and gain knowledge. From there, I joined an enterprise to soak up and learn from more traditional business practices. While both companies and positions were fantastic opportunities, they both lead me to my current role, and greatest learning opportunity yet, with Looker. Looker's comprehensive and cultural approach to analytics provides me with realtime access to the factors that drive business. I learn and apply new things daily from Looker internally as well as the companies we help. With Looker, I now have access to more learning opportunities than I can fit in the day.
