Tom is a highly regarded and trusted global Human Resource Executive and Advisor. He is known for his respectful and easy-going, yet influential style, and well-honed listening skills. He applies a practical approach in advising clients to align corporate strategies and employee needs more effectively with talent strategies and initiatives. Throughout his career Tom has ensured that both talent and change management programs are integrated with and drive business growth, agility, and dynamic and engaged organizational cultures. With more than 30+ years of global strategic Human Resource Leadership experience, Tom has worked for prestigious firms including JP Morgan, Shearson Lehman Brothers, Booz Allen, Schering-Plough/Merck, and iconic consumer brands such as Avon Products and Cannondale Sports. Tom recently retired from his role as EVP & Chief People Officer for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), an innovative non-profit leader in the health care arena dedicated to curing all blood cancers and improving the quality of life of patients and their families. At LLS, Tom reported to the CEO, served as a member of the Executive Leadership Team, and was also a trusted advisor to the LLS National Board of Directors. During his tenure at LLS, he successfully transformed the HR Department from an administrative function to a strategic talent partnership team fully integrated with the business that delivers significant value to the LLS Mission. Tom earned his M.A. in Leadership & Organizational Development from Columbia University and his B.S. in Management from Binghamton University.
