Chris began his career with Farmer Woods Group in 2011. Having worked in other fields previously and owning a small business it was clear to him that there was a disconnect on why insurance was an important business tool that could serve a firm's strategic growth and profitability goals. Where most agents talk about price, product and company, Chris works with employers as their advocate with their relationships with carriers and helping them analyze the true cost of risk and using insurance instruments to serve the strategic needs of their business. Chris graduated from Arizona State University in 2007 with a Bachelors Degree in Construction Management from the Del E. Webb School of Construction. While in college he enjoyed many activities as well as being a member of the Arizona State Track and Field team and President of the local chapter of Delta Tau Delta. Immediately following his time at ASU, Chris started a residential remodeling company known as DC Building Group. It was here that he learned all aspects of being a small business owner. In 2009 he was offered a position with SCM Builders Inc. in Scottsdale, AZ. At SCM Builders he ran both the business development and compliance departments. It was at SCM where the overwhelming misunderstanding of insurance came to light for Chris and led to his desire to change the conversation about insurance program management. Being fourth generation in this valley he cares about the community and is a current member of EC70 which in 2015 gifted over $1.5 mill to local children’s charities. His brother is a Thunderbird and his father is a member of the Tempe Diablo’s. Giving back to the community through service work has long been an important priority for Chris and his entire family.
