Experience as: * Chief Financial Officer* Chief Operating Officer * Head of Corporate Services (HR, IT, Legal, Communication & Marketing)Strategy, Corporate Finance & Operations:-Strategic and financial analysis for decision-making purpose. -M&A and Business valuation. -Definitions, implementations and executions of restructuring plans. -Monitoring of working capital investment and capital projects.-Worldwide cash management, liquidity structures and cash pooling mechanisms.-Management of financial exposures (Interests and FX) -Complex financing arrangements.-Strong working knowledge of (1) long-cycle projects/contracts, (2) product and project lifecycle management principles; and (3) Lean manufacturing principles.Reporting & Management of the finance function:-External and internal reporting; Canadian, U.S. and international (IFRS) accounting standards. -Traditional activities surrounding public companies external reporting process, including regulatory requirements (U.S. and Canadian). -Strong working knowledge in taxation (Canada, U.S. and certain major European and Asian countries).-Implementation of ERP systems.Other:-International experience (North America, Europe and Asia).-Experience in complex industries (aerospace and defence).-Oversight of corporate functions other than finance: Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal, Marketing & Communication and Health & Safety.
