Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Human Resource Management and Marketing I started out at Kohl's Department store as a part-time truck associate, knowing I wanted to pursue a career in business, I sought out different opportunities within Kohl’s that would allow me to have different experiences. I asked to be trained in different departments and for different tasks to complete throughout the store. Taking these steps made way for me to be promoted to a full time position as a Hardlines Sales Supervisor. In this position, I was in charge of setting the sales floor to the planogram sent by corporate, stocking new product, replenishing stock, price changing, and training new employees in my department. During evening shifts, I was responsible for leading a team of employees to ensure store cleanliness and appearance. While working full-time and taking classes, I determined I wanted to go into the Human Resources field. I spoke with the Human Resources manager at Kohl’s and was able to assist with interviews and orientations in order to continue to grow my knowledge and get a first-hand look into the process. Upon graduation from Indiana Tech, I was offered the HR Coordinator position at Mason Health and Rehab. This would be my first job dedicated to the HR field. I was responsible for payroll, benefits, training, hiring, and new employee orientations. While at Mason Health and Rehab, I assisted the corporate office in beta testing the new I9, applicant tracking, background and drug screen software through ADP. I worked for Lake City Bank for 6 years working in People Development. While employed for Lake City Bank I gained a great deal of information about the banking industry while growing my skills and knowledge in the Human Resources field. I was also given the opportunity to complete my SHRM-CP Certification. January 2020 I decided to change things up and left the banking industry. I decided to enter into the manufacturing industry and more specifically high-end luxury motorcoaches. In my new position I will be recruiting the highest quality candidate, streamlining the on-boarding process and dealing with employee relations. Future Goals: PHR/SPHR Certification, CCP Certification, Masters in Human Resource Management
