Alin is a 20-year technology veteran with expertise in cybersecurity, cloud technologies, agile software development, and patent and intellectual property initiatives and is always looking forward to new technologies and innovative ways to bring them to the forefront of the security industry. For the last decade, he has dedicated his time as a founding member and Chief Technology Officer at KnowBe4, a cybersecurity company, where he was part of the team that built the company from day one to a successful IPO in 2021, with multi-billion dollars valuation. He holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Automation from Polytechnic University of Timisoara, Romania. Earlier in his career, Alin helped build antispam, antivirus, sandbox technologies and other security solutions, he was responsible for building advanced and innovative offerings for threat detection and remediation. Since 2020, Alin has been a Member of the Board of the Cybersecurity Task Force of the Romanian American Chamber of Commerce – DC Chapter, to help strengthen, protect and promote the US-Romanian relationship on the cybersecurity front.
