I began my work in the financial industries immediately following my graduation from San Jose State University in 1990. Over the last 20-years I have enjoyed a robust and diverse career completely centered upon serving the financial needs of the communities of Western Washington. My beginning was with a small Mortgage Brokerage Shop in Silverdale, Washington called North Coast Financial. North Coast Financial was ultimately acquired by Medallion Mortgage of San Jose, California, then by AccuBanc of Dallas Texas. There I was blessed with a mentor named Terry Smith who was second to none. Through a combination of his leadership and my tenacity I was able to advance from a top producing mortgage loan officer to a Branch then Area Manager of one of the Nations’ largest mortgage Banks of the time. My reputation lead North Sound Bank of Poulsbo, Washington to my doorstep when they were looking for a Manager for their Mortgage and Construction lending Divisions’. I accepted a position with North Sound Bank in early 1997, which was the beginning of a 13-year career building adventure. North Sound Bank was ultimately acquired by Frontier Bank of Everett Washington then by Union Bank of San Francisco California. Under the leadership of North Sound Banks’ founder Michael Clementz and Chief Credit Officer Rob Robinson I was given the opportunity and successfully served under many posts. With each success, a new opportunity was presented. My tenure has allowed me to hone my management and lending skills across multiple facets. Specialties: Today I am considered a diversified and accomplished Commercial Banking management executive with significant P & L responsibility. I am competent in all aspects of Commercial, Consumer, Construction and Residential Real Estate Finance. I am experienced in sales, marketing, production and operations management.
