I am a multidisciplinary research scientist with a passion for science communication, innovation and applied research. I have 15 years experience working in environmental research, management and communication. Since 2015, I have been the Principal Investigator for an Australia-wide research project investigating opportunities for coastal repair and shellfish restoration. I am also the Science Communications Manager for TropWATER (www.TropWATER.com), the largest Research Centre at James Cook University, Australia. I am a Founding Director of Cinematic Science (www.CinematicScience.com) a production company that specialises in creating inspiring science-based media content. Our mission is to communicate science, natural history and social issues through compelling stories and exciting professional-quality videos and campaigns to boost research impact and lead to real-world positive change.
