Started my carrier during my college days as Verification officer to ensure the credibility of the customer by doing a pre verification once the client requests for a new credit card, mobile phones, personal loans, Auto loans & business loans. Gained knowledge of human interactions & how to approach people. During my career as verification officer, I was qualified & was asked to come for an interview in The Hindu for managing the Advertisement Department. Started working learned corporate culture, communication procedures, processes. Always wanting to learn more has opened up several opportunities in The Hindu to learn how the publication works, how departments works from Administration, HR, Editorial, Advertising, Accounts, Circulation & Distribution. February 2005 decided to call it a day after the successful 125th anniversary celebrations of The Hindu in pursuit of my personal and financial growth. Moved to Dubai & worked in 3 offices over 3 months looking out for the right job and i reached ITP where i found a great potential for growth.Started as a production coordinator for Ahlan Masala & in a span of 6 week started managing 2 weeklies single handedly. In a span of 2 years got promoted to Deputy Production Manager & took over Time Out Group. Started with 92 magazines within the group and today its over 200 titles within the group. Currently working as Production Manager but extends my support for publisher in • implementing strategy across all markets and products • regular forecast updates, monitoring and methods to reduce costs, identify target audiences. • implementing new working practices and training requirements in line with the annual objectives • finding avenues for growth and alternate sources which will complement the growth of Time Out.
