I am an experienced executive with a unique background that combines technology, design, and business. For over 25 years, I have helped brands innovate and bring new and exciting products, services, and customer experiences to life. With a proven track record of success, I have led professional services engagements while also growing my own company's capabilities in design and innovation. As the Global Chief Innovation Officer and EVP/Practice Lead for Innovation and Design across the Americas at Dentsu, I have had the opportunity to lead for over a decade. My hands-on approach and belief in active leadership have made me a strong leader. I believe that curiosity, collaboration, and cross-disciplinary thinking are key to the success of any transformation, innovation, and growth initiative. I represent Dentsu's creative agencies within Dentsu Next, where I also served as the head of the Isobar NowLab for nearly a decade. The NowLab is a global initiative that focuses on catalyzing innovation and showing brands how to leverage experience in their digital transformation. I also oversee the relationship between The MIT Media Lab and Dentsu and have the privilege of collaborating with the incredible faculty, staff, and students at MIT. I spend a great deal of time working across the company to help identify and execute on business transformation projects that require a design-led approach to innovation. I am passionate about the way emerging technologies are likely to impact society and am currently working at the intersection of AI and experience technologies like real-time rendering, 3D content, and immersion to create new ways to do things. I have been working in this space for nearly a decade and have expertise in areas such as The Semantic Web, Spatial Computing, Vreal-time filmmaking, and enabling technologies such as edge computing, neural networks, IofT, and emerging computing platforms. With all of that, I have a deep understanding of consulting and managing a professional services organization, as well as most of what advertising and media agencies are up against in the work we do. There are many sides to all of that! Outside of Dentsu, I am an advisor to various organizations, including a hardware design and development boutique, an NPO arts organization, and a prehistoric Native American archaeological dig and museum. Lastly, I have received various awards, including Campaign Magazine's 40 over 40, Webby Awards, Clio Awards, Ad-Age Project Isaac Award, Fast Company, and even a Grand Prix for digital craft at the Cannes Lions in 2018.
