Teri is an experienced healthcare executive with a proven track record of aligning and accelerating excellence in quality, safety and efficiency across integrated health systems. She's a strategic thinker with profound operational insight into the development and sustainment of cross-continuum value-based care delivery. In 2016, Teri joined BayCare Health System, headquartered in Clearwater, Florida, to oversee the strategic goal to improve quality outcomes and value of care metrics and increase the health systems national percentile ranking. Teri implemented structural and operational changes across BayCare to set the stage for sustained performance improvement in value-based care, exceeding the goal by 2 years, leading BayCare from the 43rd to the 86th percentile compared with 109 large health systems across the U.S. As Chief Quality Officer for Kettering Health Network, in Dayton, Ohio, Teri led the organizations quality and utilization management strategy, achieving and sustaining national Top Decile ranking in overall quality, including the coveted 15 Top Health System award for several consecutive years. Teri serves as a member of the National Quality Forum Standing Committee on All-Cause Hospital Readmissions. The committee evaluates and recommends measures for use in federal value-based purchasing programs In addition to Teri's educational background, she is a certified professional in healthcare quality and a certified professional coder.
