Mr. Scavongelli joined Homesite in 1998 and currently holds the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Partnership Officer for the American Family Enterprise. In that capacity he has responsibility for all partnership distribution and insurance brokerage. Prior to that he was the Chief Legal Officer and Chief Partnership Officer for American Family Direct which includes Homesite Insurance and the other direct to consumer companies of American Family. Prior to joining Homesite, Mr. Scavongelli worked for six years at the law firm of Morrison, Mahoney & Miller, where he specialized in insurance regulatory matters, insurance defense and general corporate matters. Prior to that, he worked at the Massachusetts Division of Insurance where he was counsel to the State Rating Bureau, and was a former Assistant District Attorney. Mr. Scavongelli holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Trinity College and a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School and is a graduate of the General Manager Program at Harvard Business School.
