Josh serves as Director, RSM Consulting’s Learning strategy and operations. He previously served as Chief Learning Officer of Global Consulting for Deloitte, focused on leading and influencing a major transformation to establish a global business curriculum and related processes, operations, and technologies. He formally led learning and development for the US Financial Services Industry for Deloitte - a mix of formal and informal; live, virtual, and online learning programs for a learning population of nearly 10,000. He also once served as Director of Training at H&E Equipment focusing on building the training function for the 1800 person ~$1 bn national, equipment rental company. Previously, Josh was a global project and program lead with Deloitte where he devised and implemented programs that drove user adoption of new technologies, and managed a wide variety of projects in learning portal development, learning process design, and vendor evaluation and management for Global Learning and Global Knowledge Services at Deloitte. Additionally, Josh was a pioneering manager in global KM for Deloitte, devising and launching one of the first programmatic and integrated Communities of Practice initiatives in the global organization. Josh's expertise is rooted in just over 20 years in both formal and informal learning, knowledge management, and collaboration program design. His experience has consistently demonstrated solid team development, stakeholder consensus building, change and adoption management, and project management skills. He has a reputation for quiet yet effective leadership, thoughtful approaches, innovation rooted in practicality, focusing on the client (internal or external), ensuring alignment with business needs, and demonstrating impact on the business. He is also well known for a severe reluctance to check his wit and personality at the office doors!
